Getting Started

KeepShield is a comprehensive link management platform that allows you to store, organize, backup, and monitor your links from various file hosting services. We provide a unified dashboard to manage all your content across multiple platforms.
Click the "Register" button in the top right corner, fill in your details (username, email, password), and submit the form. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account. Once verified, you can log in and start using the service.
We offer both free and premium plans. The free plan includes basic features with some limitations. Premium plans offer additional features like unlimited links, priority support, and advanced analytics.

API & Integration

We currently support multiple hosting services including Streamtape, MixDrop, Up4Stream, LuluStream, Veev, Byse, and FileStore. We're constantly adding support for new services based on user demand.
Go to "API Settings" from the sidebar, select your hosting service, and enter your API credentials (usually an API key and/or login). You can find your API credentials in your hosting service account settings. Once connected, you'll see a "Connected" status.
Yes, all API credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored in our database. Your credentials are never stored in plain text and are only decrypted when needed to make API calls on your behalf.

Links & Backups

Navigate to "Add Links" from the sidebar, select your hosting service, and either paste links directly or use the file browser to select files from your hosting account. You can add multiple links at once by pasting them one per line.
When you add links from one hosting service, you can create backup copies on other connected services. The system downloads the file and re-uploads it to your backup service automatically. Backups are refreshed periodically (every 90 days by default) to ensure they remain active.
Our system monitors your links and detects when they go offline. If a backup exists, you can automatically restore the link using the backup copy. You'll also be notified about offline links in your dashboard.
Limits depend on your account type. Free accounts have a limit on the number of links they can store, while premium accounts have higher or unlimited link storage. Check your account settings or contact support for specific limits.

SafeLinks

SafeLinks are protected redirect links that mask your original file links. They provide additional features like password protection, expiration dates, click tracking, and can automatically switch to backup links if the primary link goes offline.
Yes, you can set a password for any SafeLink. Visitors will need to enter the correct password before being redirected to the destination. You can also set expiration dates to limit access to a specific time period.

Account & Security

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the link to create a new password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
You can request account deletion by contacting our support team. Please note that deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including stored links, settings, and API credentials. This action cannot be undone.
Yes, we take security seriously. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for sensitive data, secure HTTPS connections for all communications, and follow best practices for data protection. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Troubleshooting

First, verify that your API credentials are correct and haven't expired. Check if your hosting service account is active and has API access enabled. If the problem persists, the hosting service API might be temporarily down – try again later or contact our support.
Backup failures can occur due to: 1) Large file sizes exceeding limits, 2) API rate limiting, 3) Network timeouts, 4) Insufficient storage on destination. Check the error message in your dashboard for specific details and try again later.
